I was thinking about how protoss air units are in my opinion uninteresting. So I was wondering what changes could be made to the carrier that might make it a little more fun to use.

Interceptor suicide: A aoe ability where the carrier sacrifices its intercepters in order to bombard ground units with terrible terrible damage. Used as a last dich effort when met with overwhelming ground forces.

I was thinking that the attack power would be enough to wipe out marines but not insta-kill other units.

This overlaps with psi storm but I don't think it replaces it due to sheer cost. Just a fun ability that might make for some interesting moments.

The Protoss Phoenix has anti-gravity now and it is great at harassment, especially with more than one Phoenix in a pack. These harassment groups can easily lift workers and other strategic targets like Queens to be taken out while floating in the air.

edited: The Phoenix in the latest build uses energy (4 per second) when casting anti-gravity, thus the same Phoenix is not able to attack the target it is lifting with anti-gravity.
